Art Attack

The 40th Hong Kong Arts Festival takes place over 45 days at 17 separate venues citywide. Real Steel

Perth's beaches will be overrun with athletes and budding surf lifesavers as they take part in a weekend of sand, sun and family fun during the Kellogg's Nutri-Grain Ironman Series and Indian Ocean Classic. The Chingay Parade is a traditional Chinese New Year procession that has developed over the years into a massive street spectacle featuring a stunning array of street floats, lion and dragon dance performances, jugglers, percussionists, clowns and acrobats. Carry On, Pilgrims

Thaipusam is a Hindu festival celebrated by Singapore's Tamil community with the aim of obtaining blessings, fulfilling vows and offering thanks. It starts in the early morning, with devotees carrying offerings or with "kavadis" or structures attached to their bodies completing a 4.5km walk from Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple along Serangoon Road to Sri Thendayuthapani Temple on Tank Road.
